Wisdom's Voice

Without Reservation presents a collection of sayings that date back over 2500 years. The inspiration and wisdom of these truths are undeniable. When pride comes, there comes shame, but wisdom is with the quiet in spirit. (11:2)

He who goes about talking of others makes secrets public, but the true-hearted man keeps things covered. (11:13)

He who puts his faith in wealth will come to nothing; but the upright man will be full of growth like the green leaf. (11:28)

The way of the foolish man seems right to him? but the wise man gives ear to suggestions. (12:15)

He who keeps a watch on his mouth keeps his life; but he whose lips are open wide will have destruction. (13:3)

By a soft answer wrath is turned away, but a bitter word is a cause of angry feelings. (15:1)

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. (15:3)

A glad heart makes a shining face, but by the sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. (15:13)

A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish man has no respect for his mother. (15:20)

The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning men away from the nets of death. (13:14)
